About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Daikin Manufacturing México. As a key member of our Product Engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Review and Approval: Review and approve product materials, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and performance.
  • Problem Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve product-related issues, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Product Engineering, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of Product Technicians, delegating responsibilities and providing guidance to ensure successful product validation and delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials and components.
  • FMEA Participation: Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and eliminate potential product failures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in a Product Engineer or similar role.
  • Language Skills: Advanced level of English proficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Solid Works System, APQP, AMEF's, GD&T, and Six Sigma courses.
  • Software Skills: Experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
