Job Opportunity

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide critical HR support to help expand the capacity and reach of the Water Mission Honduras HR department. This position will assist with full-cycle recruiting, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, record keeping, compliance, and day-to-day customer service support for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate employee records and process employee data changes across multiple systems.
  • Assist with the completion of onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support the administration of Water Mission Honduras benefits.
  • Assist with preparing reports from HRIS, time tracking, and payroll systems.
  • Draft, update, and maintain documentation of internal HR processes and procedures.
  • Maintain processes for the storage and maintenance of internal physical and electronic HR files.
  • Assist with updating the employee handbook with current HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in processing independent contractor agreements and tracking expired agreements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Team.
  • Provide day-to-day HR customer service functions by answering internal and external requests and questions.
  • Assist in employee relations issues or requests from Water Mission staff as needed.
Recruiting
  • Assist with job descriptions to prepare them for posting.
  • Manage the storage and organization of all existing job descriptions.
  • Coordinate with Water Mission's Talent Acquisition team to post jobs on the Water Mission careers page.
  • Post and manage open positions on local job boards.
  • Conduct HR phone screens as needed.
  • Schedule interviews and travel arrangements and in-person interviews.
  • Complete reference checks.
