About the Role

As an Area Manager, Logistics, Last Mile Delivery with Mygwork, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of Amazon orders to customers. This position requires a strong focus on safety, service quality, customer experience, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review operational forecasts and determine productivity requirements for sort operations, managing a team to meet building goals.
  • Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for associates and Delivery Service Providers.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing operations and leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers.
  • Ensure a safe workplace, properly trained people, and address their needs to focus on their jobs.
Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor Degree
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • English Fluency (C1+)
  • 5+ years of general experience
  • 3+ years as People Manager
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid experience using Lean Manufacturing concepts/processes
  • 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • MBA or related
  • Previous experience in last mile companies
