Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, programming, and controlling and maintaining scanners, cameras, and programs.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of electricity in high and low voltage, control electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and interpretation of electrical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults
  • Program and control electrical systems
  • Maintain and repair scanners, cameras, and programs
  • Implement new procedures and document improvements
  • Continuously seek ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Perform and record preventive maintenance
  • Assist the production, engineering, and quality departments in changes to models, audits, and process improvements
  • Participate in 5S, TPM, and Kaizen events
  • Participate in safety and operational activities, such as training brigades and documentation
Requirements
  • Experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing processes
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity in high and low voltage, control electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and interpretation of electrical diagrams
  • Desirable knowledge of welding processes: MIG, resistance, and friction
  • Engineering degree in electromechanical, electronics, or mechatronics, or equivalent experience
  • High sense of responsibility, service-oriented, team-oriented, and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of PLC "Allen Bradley" Rs Logix 500, 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk
  • No unjustified absences and less than 3 justified absences in the last 6 months. No disciplinary reports
  • More than 6 months of work experience in the plant
  • Knowledge of computer systems (desirable)
  • Reading instructions in English (desirable)
  • Availability of shifts and schedule
