Montessori Educator for Early Childhood

Role Overview:

We're seeking a dedicated, English-speaking Montessori Assistant to support our Children's House environment, serving children aged 3-6.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the lead guide in daily classroom operations.
• Assist children in individual and group activities.
• Maintain a prepared Montessori environment, setting up activities, organizing materials, and ensuring a clean space.
• Foster an atmosphere of respect, independence, and joy in learning.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during class activities and transitions.
• Communicate effectively in English with children, team members, and families.
• Support children's language development through interactive lessons and daily conversations.

Requirements:

• Native or fluent in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
• Experience or interest in working with children, especially in a Montessori environment.
• Passionate about education and the Montessori philosophy.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Montessori certificate (preferred).

Work Location: In person
