Job Summary:
This position oversees the management of multiple sites with a team of experienced professionals and supervisors in Planning/Scheduling, Logistics, Import/Export, Warehousing, Material Handling, and Materials SIOP. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance of critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including inventory management, customer delivery, production scheduling, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of professionals to ensure compliance with KPIs.
- Understand forecasting and capacity constraints utilizing monthly Sales Inventory and Operations planning.
- Set objectives and guide others on execution/approach for the achievement of operational goals.
- Problem-solve complex issues involving multiple variables.
- Communicate policies, practices, and procedures to influence others.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering fields.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically SAP R/3.
- Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills.
- Advanced knowledge of lean/materials principles.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and results-focused skills.
- Management and organizational skills.
- Ability to make decisions under time pressure and work independently.
- Team player with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Experience working with Health and Safety regulations.
- Project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics.
- Aerospace or Automotive industry experience.
- APICS certification.
