About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining production processes, working closely with the Process Engineer to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop error-proofing systems for new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor equipment uptime and identify top downtime issues to improve performance
- Implement problem-solving methodologies to find root causes and fix process problems
- Develop and design equipment for new programs, following established timelines and guidelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve design and tooling
- Develop Lessons Learned Matrix and create preventive and corrective maintenance plans for equipment
- Support Product, Quality, and Production departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO14001, ISO9000, ISOTS/16949, CELC, and C-TPAT
Requirements
- Bachelor's or university degree in Engineering
- Quality System knowledge and experience
- English fluency and strong communication skills
- Two to five years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a global company
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and strong analytical skills
