Join Our Team as a Payments Analyst

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a skilled Payments Analyst to join our Payments - Financial Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational relationship with our payment service providers, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders to support financial business decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Payments and Fraud Team to understand business objectives, data requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Leverage robust analytical abilities to process and interpret extensive datasets, uncovering critical insights to guide decision-making.
  • Maintain high data quality and address any discrepancies.
How You Will Make a Difference
  • Drive opportunities through data by reducing manual dependency on pulling data and assisting in standardizing metrics, tables, and queries.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive a one culture mindset, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to identify and investigate payment processing issues.
  • Deliver consistent data and reports to key stakeholders to keep them informed of the performance of payments for their line of business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in card payment analytics.
  • At least 1+ years working with payment processors.
  • General understanding of card payments, billing, tax, and reporting systems.
  • Good analytical skills displaying the ability to tell a story with data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across various departments and stakeholders.
