Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at Yanfeng Automotive. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of process improvements in injection molding and vacuum forming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement plans to improve cycle times, scrap, quality, and material cost reduction in injection molding and vacuum forming processes.
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise process technicians, assign responsibilities, and ensure compliance to performance expectations.
- Training and Development: Hire, discipline, and develop process technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety rules daily, actively intervene to correct unrecognized unsafe actions and conditions, and conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices adherence.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure that all accidents, including first aid, are reported and documented.
- Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Processing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years or more experience in injection molding processing required.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Skills: Superior injection molding processing skills, thorough understanding of scientific molding concepts, mechanical aptitude for problem solving, and experience with various injection molding technologies.
