About the Role

This is a Technical Lead role for a Full Stack Engineer who will lead a highly skilled, agile development team and work closely with various Repo front office traders. The team is developing features for Repo business, used by trading desks across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and oversee a team of 3+ developers to ensure the successful execution of projects and the growth of the team.
  • Develop and deliver to production small non breaking iterative changes that provide business value.
  • Help consult on business requirements with specific input around technology capability and limitations.
  • Help maintain and improve the stability and reliability of our production environments.
  • Work closely with the business in London, New York and other centers on a day to day basis and co-ordinate with teams to ensure that the business and project needs are met.

Requirements

  • Mandatory Skills / Experience:
    • Repo or Securities Financing experience preferred.
    • Proficient in Java microservices development.
    • Familiarity with JavaScript/React for UI development.
    • Basic knowledge of Cloud platforms.
    • Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps tooling such as JIRA, Maven/Gradle.
