Restaurant Captain

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Captain to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Restaurant Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Communicate effectively with chefs, stewards, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage total charges for group functions and prepare checks for payment.
• Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service, with proper centerpieces and clean presentation.
• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silverware.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day.

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
