Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications.
- Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in Spanish.
- Knowledge of shell scripting on Linux, Bash, Korn, Perl, Python, or Ansible scripts.
- Knowledge of shell scripting on Windows, PowerShell, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, and JSON for calling API services in automation scripts.
- Comfortable working in RedHat Linux command-line.
- Participate in production support team.
- Excellent general understanding of Linux, cloud networking, and server management.
- Knowledge of HTTP or background in web technologies is highly desired.
- Experience with LMA (Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting) using monitoring tools, preferably using Dynatrace.
- Knowledge about maintenance of Linux and Windows systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and platforms such as Terraform, Rundeck, Ansible, etc.
