**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team as a Network Monitoring Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the use of the SolarWinds platform, which includes WAN/LAN and server monitoring, reporting, and alerting.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Maintain and enhance the SolarWinds platform to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Provide expertise in leveraging MIBs, OIDs, and WMI performance counters to diagnose and troubleshoot network problems.
• Review business requirements and improve monitoring of the Orion Platform.
• Plan and execute system software installations, upgrades, and changes across the organization.
• Manage simple and distributed Orion architecture with multiple additional pollers and other scalability engines.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

• 5+ years of hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting SolarWinds on the front and back-end.
• Expertise in the administration, support, and operation of the Orion SolarWinds platform including NPM, NCM, SAM, NTA, VNQM, and IPAM.
• Expertise in the use of network management protocols (e.g. SNMP, SNMP Traps, Syslog, ICMP, NetFlow, etc.).
• Knowledge of and experience with LAN/WAN and Data Center and Cloud-based environments.
• SolarWinds Platform products release upgrade experience.
• MS SQL Server Administration experience.
• Vmware vSphere experience.

**Additional Requirements**

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess excellent verbal and writing skills.

**Estimated Salary:** $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience and location.
