Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Global Sales Development Manager for our HVAC territory to join our sales team. This position presents an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to our rapidly growing global organization by expanding our market presence and driving sales success.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding our presence in Mexico by executing our sales strategy and building strong partnerships. You will serve as our dynamic local Business Developer, providing education and promoting our solutions, researching the market and generating projects for our partners. Your primary objective will be to increase sales in your territory by working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and facility owners.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Developing and executing all commercial activities in the assigned territory, focusing on primary and vital sales tasks such as prospecting, visiting clients, requesting and sending quotes, communication with the technical department, tracking quotes, deal closing, and post-sales.
- Identifying, evaluating, and incorporating new contractors, manufacturer representatives, consulting engineers, and wholesalers to expand our network.
- Reviewing projects in your territory, coordinating with the Inside Sales team and clients to ensure smooth sales execution.
- Actively participating in local industry events, trade shows/exhibitions to promote our solutions and foster valuable connections.
- Maintaining and updating critical information daily in our CRM system (Pipedrive) for effective sales tracking and reporting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of sales and customer relationship management experience, preferably in technical or HVAC industries.
- The ability to read and understand drawings and technical specifications with a strong understanding of sales processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken English, along with interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- The ability to travel 80% across the assigned territory for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and presentations.
