As a Process Technician at Jabil, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide equipment and process support to our workcells, performing maintenance and repairs as needed to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels
  • Determine work priorities based on production schedules and collaborate with department and line supervisors
  • Provide front-line support to machine support technicians and facilitate the escalation process
  • Train machine support technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Address repetitive equipment problems and design long-term solutions to improve efficiency
  • Facilitate New Product Introduction/Prototype runs and provide line support to machine support technicians
  • Measure department performance and drive improvements in line metrics, efficiencies, and yields

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
