We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and execution of electromechanical and special installations on industrial and manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Analyze and evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Site Monitoring: Directly monitor the work site to ensure that electromechanical and special installations are executed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Construction Scheduling: Develop and manage construction schedules and cost estimates to contribute to project reviews and value engineering.
- Risk Management: Contribute to risk analysis and update project risks matrix to ensure that potential risks are identified and mitigated.
- Safety and Quality: Interpret, apply, and implement safety standards and best practices to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality installations.
- Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment, and ensure that checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning are executed in accordance with project specifications.
- Work Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute work for self and others to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Management: Define and review quality plans to ensure that high-quality installations are delivered.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with client operations and other stakeholders to ensure that day-to-day site activities are planned and executed effectively.
- Reporting and Meetings: Prepare, issue, and present reports and attend weekly meetings as scheduled in the project.
- Experience: Ten years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction on industrial and manufacturing projects.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
- Skills: Experience with electric, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and automation systems; commissioning experience; PMI certification; experience in LEED projects; fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.
