About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer Planner to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our businesses in improving their operations with respect to trade and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate Purchase Orders: You will be responsible for initiating purchase orders in our system, in accordance with purchase requisitions and standard procedures, confirming delivery with suppliers, and monitoring and tracking supplier performance against PO requirements.
  2. Submit and Confirm Purchase Orders: You will submit and confirm new purchase orders, ensuring that they align with customer requirements and are executed in a timely manner.
  3. Align Supplier Orders with Customer Requirements: You will work closely with internal customers and suppliers to ensure that supplier orders meet customer requirements, including content, quality, delivery, and price.
  4. Execute Exception Messages: You will execute exception messages, including pull-in, push-out, and cancellation, to ensure that purchase orders are executed correctly.
  5. Attend Internal and External Meetings: You will attend internal and external meetings to resolve issues related to purchase orders and material shortages.
  6. Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders: You will work closely with internal customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure receipt of material on time.
  7. Logistics Coordination: You will coordinate logistics for domestic shipments and track international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  8. Validation of Material Master Information: You will validate basic material master information parameters, including LT, MOQ, SPQ, and safety stock.
  9. Forecast Creation and Analysis: You will create and analyze forecasts to ensure that material requirements are met.
  10. Resolving Material Shortage Issues: You will resolve material shortage issues, including discrepancies, customer requirements, and escalations.
  11. Analysis of Critical Materials: You will analyze critical materials to identify opportunities for logistics model improvements, second sourcing, or safety stock adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: You must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience in a materials planning, purchasing, or related role.
  • Technical Skills: You must have knowledge of ERP systems, SAP, and Excel. Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as Power BI, Visual Basic, and C++, is a plus.
  • Language Skills: You must have advanced conversational English skills.
  • Travel: You must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
