We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Technician to join our team at Johnson & Johnson in Mexico. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify all invoices from Mexican vendors to ensure compliance with local requirements.
  • Process data into our AP system related to vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Prepare supplier payments on a timely basis, either by check or electronic transfer, and maintain proper record keeping and filing of all vendor invoices.
  • Generate and enter journal entries related to AP transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in monthly closing activities, including account analysis and preparation of financial reports.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar position is required.
  • Excellent management, conflict resolution, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with GMP/ISO standards is preferred, as well as knowledge of accounting and general ledger principles.
  • The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$65,000, depending on experience.
