About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller Assistant to join our team at Flex, a Fortune global 500 company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and supporting business strategy and decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Participate in special projects and compile reports as needed.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for local management and leadership team.
  • Prepare weekly and month-end reports for leadership team.
  • Assist with managing the Accounting department and implementing HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
  • Coordinate month-end activities and ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience as a controller assistant or similar position.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Knowledge of forecast, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
  • ERP and Excel proficiency.
  • Costs and accounting reconciliations experience, including inventory and critical accounts.
  • Knowledge of Mexican GAAP, with US GAAP a plus.
  • Experience with expense approval and analysis.
