Hella, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a skilled Production Planning professional to join their team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a key member of the production planning team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's future by optimizing production processes and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously track production plans, ensuring material availability, production scheduling, and order release.
  • Support the execution of complex production planning-related exception handling and error correction, particularly within the ERP system.
  • Identify causes of delivery delays, find viable solutions, and inform the sales schedule.
  • Align with material management, production, and sales planning to review customer orders, production capabilities, and material availability.
  • Support the special needs for SOP and EOP products.
  • Act as a central contact person and first-level support for production planning processes in the plant, focusing on information flow within the ERP system.
  • Support the execution of training measures and knowledge transfer of standardized production planning processes to production planners and supervisors.
  • Measure and monitor production planning target KPIs in the plant and execute countermeasures in close alignment with supervisors.
  • Plan production and schedule complex production sequences, considering lead times, shipping dates, sales forecasts, customer orders, and backorders.
  • Evaluate capacity loads for complex production lines.
  • Participate in optimization projects concerning production planning processes.
