We have partnered with a US-based product company seeking to expand its backend team. They develop management products that help numerous companies worldwide streamline their operations and improve efficiency. The company has a global team and is interested in hiring someone based in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, or Ecuador.
Our Proposal:
You will be an integral part of a collaborative team where product, engineering, and quality assurance professionals work together to shape the company's product suite within an agile framework. Your role will involve not only maintaining code but also innovating new features, enhancing codebase quality, and exploring emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for ongoing data architecture for the product. Control and enhance the architecture during subsequent iterations of the project.
- Develop project documentation and its support.
- Identify product requirements and limitations to ensure system functionality.
- Participate in developing prototypes, microservice architecture, contributing code, and evaluating technologies.
- Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
- Identify and correct existing issues based on field issues reported by our support teams. Provide guidance and expertise for our support teams.
- Monitor our production monitoring system for potential issues that may be on the horizon.
Must-have Requirements:
2+ years of recent Kotlin experience
- 3+ years of REST service development using Spring framework.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development.
- Experience with Relational Database design and development experience. PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Previous experience with NoSQL document-based database design and development.
- Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming design concepts.
- High English level
Nice-to-have requirements:
Code test coverage through Unit or Integration tests.
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Delivery
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with AWS
