The Finance Business Process Associate will work closely with the Finance Business Process Supervisor to design and develop bots that automate manual processes, transforming them into useful structures. This role is responsible for creating process documentation and updating software administrators on new functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Finance Business Process Supervisor to understand customer business processes and identify technical requirements for bot development.
- Build simple bots for approved project proposals, following established internal departmental controls and best practices.
- Complete parallel testing of new bots in the development environment before moving them into production.
- Assist in training accountants or administrators to assume responsibility for completed bots.
- Create detailed process documentation for all bots, including data sources and job processes.
- Assist in creating service level agreements (SLAs) outlining the Business Process Automation team's responsibilities versus the business owner's responsibilities.
- Maintain exception reporting for bots created on behalf of end users and their senior management.
- Create SharePoint tickets as needed for assistance with projects in the development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing automation bots or equivalent.
- Project Management experience.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- Experience with Trintech products: ReconNET and Certification.
- Experience with Automation Anywhere bot development.
- Experience writing process design documentation.
- Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with team members and business customers.
- Experience participating in communication between the business and the Information Technology teams.
- Clear documentation and explanation of business processes and automated solution designs.
- Time management skills with an attention to detail.
