As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial statements on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity and high quality of financial records to meet best-practice reporting standards for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with all accounting practices and processes.
  • Implement and adhere to Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRG), IFRS, GAAP, and other internal directives.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the proper application of accounting systems.
  • Manage bookkeeping functions including general ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, cash and bank, and inventory accounting, including month-end journal entries.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting in accordance with established timelines.
  • Deliver statutory financial statements for all relevant legal entities.
  • Assist the Head of Accounting in preparing accounting memos on complex accounting issues.
  • Contribute to the global OAC team by sharing knowledge and driving common accounting topics.

Qualifications

We seek individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and understand the importance of leading change. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience: Over 2 years in the renewable energy sector.
  • Tools: Proficiency in SAP.
  • Language: Advanced English (C1).
