Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing engine components and managing supplier relationships in accordance with our Global Supply Chain Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commodity strategy activities, including strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Sourcing activities for new components, including RFQ and negotiations with suppliers.
- Contract negotiations with suppliers, including LTA, terms and conditions, and logistics.
- Administrative activities in our IT System (SAP).
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topics.
- Enforce Quality BRP policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or economics.
- 0-2 years' experience in buyer responsibility, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Fluent in Spanish written and verbal, English written and verbal (min: 80%), and knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
