About Your Role

The Network Planner is responsible for balancing and optimizing end-to-end supply planning to meet global demand.

You will communicate effectively and efficiently the supply and production risks that arise in the chain, mitigating risks through short-, medium-, and long-term tactical strategies.

Contribute to the SIOP process by collaborating with demand planning, plant leadership, and business units.

Your Responsibilities

  • Formulate and communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply and demand.
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks, e.g., low cover, and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Align transfer orders to demand and send to ERP and/or local shipping system for execution.
  • Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, decrease, or postpone orders if necessary.
  • Apply scenario planning and collaboration, leveraging Rapid Response functionality and tools.
  • Collaborate with Plant Schedulers, Demand planners, W&D, Cluster fulfillment, Commercial & Manufacturing to resolve supply risks & issues.
  • Lead OPLAN review with key stakeholders, e.g., Plant management.
  • Support the Network manager with regional and/or Global SI&OP input.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, review, and approve planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be accountable for achieving Inventory targets.
  • Provide input to financial planning and forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Manufacturing planning, Industrial Engineering, Business administration, Supply Chain Management-planning, logistics.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Manufacturing planning processes (scheduler desirable), Supply Chain Experience in similar scale supply chain role.
  • Proficient technical skills, experience with RapidResponse or other relevant planning systems.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills (including influencing, communication, negotiating, and conflict management) and experience in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.
  • Basic Project management skill and lean/continuous improvement.
  • Procurement planning: in-depth understanding of how to control inventory levels based on Re-Order Point/Lead Time/safety stock.
  • Advanced English.
  • APICS desirable.
  • Excel Advanced.
  • Knowledge of Planning tools desirable.
