The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding process engineering, with experience in defining, implementing, and evaluating proposed designs and processes for manufacturability. You will be responsible for recognizing manufacturing processes, technologies, and techniques, as well as identifying root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Developing and implementing process control methodologies to ensure robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
- Managing engineering change orders (ECOs) and overseeing new process equipment production.
- Establishing and maintaining process documentation, reviewing processing methods, and interfacing with production on new process implementation and transfer.
- Assisting in the development and providing training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
- Validating manufacturing processes to guarantee quality and supervising resources considering safety, hygiene, and environmental aspects to increase productivity.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with punch, bend, insertion, robotic tapping operations, including tool crib management, EDMs, and MRO non-BoM materials.
- Experience in the metal-mechanic industry (desirable).
- Ability to participate in cycle time and process improvements, evaluate and select various engineered materials, and implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
