About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our INTech LatAm Expansion team in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems that enable Amazon's retail features in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features and services to support Amazon's retail business in Latin America
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following Amazon's coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and operational reviews to ensure software systems meet Amazon's quality and reliability standards
  • Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize technical projects and initiatives
About the Team

The Amazon International Expansion team in Mexico is a small group of experienced Amazonians who tackle complex and ambiguous problems every day. We keep our on-call load low, so we can focus on solving bigger picture problems. We are a social group and generally organize a team event at least once per month.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
