Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor - Press Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain production machines and department equipment.
- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs during production and machine service periods.
- Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and department facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations and report unusual situations to the manager.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements
- An Associate Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working on Italian (OEM) large format ceramic tile presses.
- Prior maintenance/mechanical experience in a commercial environment is ideal.
- Prior experience or proven aptitude for strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
- Must be able to work on call due to the 24/7 nature of operations.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently.
