TE Connectivity's Audit Teams develop and implement internal financial audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is a key component of our risk management strategy, working closely with Forensic Managers to investigate allegations of irregularities and fraud.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Fraud Investigation Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into potential fraud cases, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
About the Role:
- Conduct independent investigations into allegations of fraud, ensuring all evidence is thoroughly reviewed and documented
- Develop and implement audit procedures to prevent, identify, and detect fraud, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
- Work closely with Forensic Managers to identify control deficiencies and recommend remedial actions to operational management, human resources, and law department personnel
- Provide regular updates on investigation progress and findings to Forensic Audit management and/or Vice President of Internal Audit
- Promote a culture of integrity and transparency within the organization, encouraging employees to report any suspicious activity
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field
- Over 3-4 years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, or a related field, preferably with public accounting or a multinational corporation
- Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA are highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
