Overview

Buscojobs México is seeking an experienced Modular Construction Director to lead our team in prefabricated construction. With a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, this role will oversee all operations and production to ensure timely delivery of customizable housing.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $180,000 MXN per month, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can demonstrate proactive management and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prefabricated/modular home construction processes or techniques, as well as experience with budgeting and resource management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of all operations and production to ensure deadlines are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Leadership and development of strategies for improving operational efficiency and productivity
  • Implementation of Lean principles and projects, including green or black belt certification
  • Monitoring and managing the plant's budget and resources to optimize utilization and cost-effectiveness
  • Developing strategies to meet production goals while reducing costs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, architecture, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role in prefabricated construction or manufacturing
  • Knowledge or understanding of prefabricated/modular home construction processes or techniques
  • Experience with ERP management systems, such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle
  • Lean implementation project experience, preferably with green or black belt certification
