Key Responsibilities- Prepare tax returns of varying complexities, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns.
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions, including making adjusting entries and completing a trial balance.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end estimates.
- Draft response letters to IRS and state notices as needed.
- Provide excellent client service by producing quality work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 150 hours of college credit.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computer software used in the tax department, including tax preparation software and accounting systems.
