Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer Sr to join our team at Bosch Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for implementing, executing, and automating software tests for our Driver Assistance products, including Ultrasonic Sensors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Design and execute tests to identify and resolve software issues.
- Analyze system and software requirements in DOORS and collaborate with the software project team to clarify requirements.
- Create test specifications based on software system requirements and set up test tools and infrastructure.
- Implement tests in an automated test environment (HIL) and collaborate with the software project team to ensure test readiness.
- Close cooperation with the software project team to improve existing test environments and procedures.
- Mentor junior testers to ramp up in the project and support the development of the test platform for new projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing and system testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC / STLC / V-model) and Agile Methodologies.
- Experience working with CAN protocol, diagnosis modules (UDS protocol), and Vector tools (CANoe / CANalyzer, VNs, Vxs).
- Strong knowledge of software testing theory and ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
- Knowledge of software configuration management (Ex: Clear Quest, ALM-RTC) and ASPICE.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on quality and delivery.
- Proficient in English (CEFR B2-C1).
Nice to Have:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a Test Coordinator role.
- Understanding of Project Management basics.
- Knowledge of ESP system and vehicle dynamics.
- Experience in Hardware in Loop Testing and Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing.
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification.
