The Lean Engineering Business Partner plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement in assigned manufacturing plants. This includes developing and implementing lean operating models and mechanisms to improve metrics and performance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Operations leadership to co-own plant productivity targets and advance a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to drive standardized processes in manufacturing efficiency and productivity
  • Implementing lean foundational areas such as Hoshin Planning, Gemba Walks, Lean Training, A3 Root Cause Problem Solving, Suggestion Systems, 5S Programs, Metrics that Matter, MOR Performance, Process Mapping, Kaizen Events, and Identifying improvement opportunities
  • Establishing quantifiable improvement targets in productivity, material consumption, operation expenses, quality, safety, space utilization, and inventory reduction
  • Creating and implementing best practice lean vision, strategy, policies, and processes
  • Building relationships across the matrix organization and leading change by influence and collaboration rather than authority and control
  • Crafting and mentoring productivity leaders in adopting lean initiatives

A successful candidate will be an experienced Lean professional with a proven track record of driving positive change in global manufacturing operations. They will possess expertise in problem-solving, lean engineering, and advanced English language skills. We offer a competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
