**Job Summary**

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomechanics Specialist to join our team at Schlumberger. As a Geomechanics Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise in the area of geomechanics throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide technical support and guidance to Sales and Product and Service Delivery teams on geomechanics-related matters.
• Assist in the development of technical job designs for projects, ensuring that they are geomechanically sound and meet the required standards.
• Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied to improve project outcomes.
• Explore opportunities for value-added products and services that leverage geomechanics expertise.
• Collaborate with Design/Technical Engineer role to optimize technical designs and ensure they meet geomechanical requirements.
• Participate in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation related to geomechanics.
• Evaluate technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders related to geomechanics.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in geomechanics.
• Maintain customer visibility through active participation in professional society activities and calls for papers.
• Understand the competition's technical offering in geomechanics.
• Participate in external technical societies and communities related to geomechanics.
• Contribute to, write, and review technical publications on geomechanics.
• Engage with local universities, customer institutes, and research organizations to stay current on geomechanics research and advancements.
