**Tactical Buyer Role**

Thales is seeking a skilled Tactical Buyer to lead the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Transform Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure accuracy of PO details.
• Manage supplier communication, including acknowledgement of Purchase Order receipt and delivery commitment.
• Coordinate purchase order cancellation, rescheduling or PO information changes (quantity, price, and requirements).
• Follow-up and expediting of purchase orders and requests from users through the Ticket Service.
• Collaborate with Regional Procurement Category Managers and Buyers to manage local negotiations within Delegation of Authority thresholds.
• Report on procurement projects status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

**Requirements**

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 3 or more years of experience in Supply chain, indirect/direct buyer.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Experience with MS Office, ERP's (SAP, Oracle, etc).
• Data Bases management experience.
• Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
