Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead our software engineering teams in delivering innovative technologies and solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, leading multiple teams of software engineers, and mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of engineers on your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence executive stakeholders and drive strategic decisions
  • Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of software engineers and build a culture of accountability
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team
  • Work with product leaders to define the strategy, roadmap, and destination architecture
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse technology platforms and projects to build scalable applications that meet our customer needs
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices and lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

Requirements:

  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8 years experience in software development
  • At least 7 years experience in people management
  • At least 5 years of experience with AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 13+ years of experience in software development
  • 8+ years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • 7+ years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
