Responsibilities

The Consumer Data Steward role is responsible for maintaining alignment with Enterprise Data Governance's (EDG) processes, rules, and standards to ensure data is fit for purpose. This includes:

  • Driving data accuracy and adherence to global governance practices
  • Maintaining and advising stakeholders on data governance-related matters in Consumer data
  • Providing recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policies
  • Advising on projects and initiatives to ensure data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed
  • Representing market-specific needs in Sector data councils and above
  • Coordinating across the Sector to maintain consistency of critical enterprise, digital, operational, and analytical data

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with:

4+ years of experience in Data Governance or Stewardship, with a focus on Consumer dataUnderstanding of key data management concepts, including data ingestion, best practices for data use and consumption, data quality, and stewardship
