We are seeking a highly skilled Laser/Maintenance Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing new products, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to meet production standards and quality requirements.
- Evaluate and publish manufacturing drawing releases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain Value Stream Maps (VSM) to optimize production flow and efficiency.
- Assess equipment requirements and design process, tools, and masking for production.
- Design and implement transfer hooks and transfer carts to improve production efficiency.
- Define hand tool requirements and create work instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
- Develop and maintain a spare parts list and create a maintenance program to prevent downtime.
- Support daily operations and provide required information in SAP.
- Track theoretical welding wire consumption versus actual consumption to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide information required for PPAP and implement lean manufacturing ideology.
- Creation and Maintenance of machine workload capacity record and material flow diagram.
- Creation and Maintenance of an efficient Kanban area and perform security-related activities.
- Creation of P3, Pilot, and Dry Run parts and participate in compliance with the QMS.
- Comply with safety rules and complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
- Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
