About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior NLP Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a Junior NLP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing language understanding systems, transforming natural language data into useful features, and collaborating with our research and development team on projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop NLP systems according to requirements
  • Transform natural language data into useful features using NLP techniques to feed classification algorithms
  • Train and evaluate NLP models
  • Collaborate with other research and development team members on projects
  • Analyze and transform natural language data
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest NLP technologies and advancements

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong aptitude for mathematics, particularly algebra, and statistics
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

**Nice-to-Have:**

  • Experience with NLP projects or research
  • Experience with Knowledge Graph
  • Knowledge of MLOps and data modeling/engineering structures
