Position Overview
Quality Engineer Role in Automotive Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong interest in the automotive field? Do you possess a C1 level of English proficiency or higher? Are you authorized to work in Mexico and open to the possibility of relocating to the UK after an initial period? If you meet these criteria, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan, organize, and execute activities within your designated area.
- Identify and report deviations from established standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Minimize losses and conduct thorough internal audits.
- Develop comprehensive documentation related to processes, products, and the quality management system.
- Facilitate internal quality training sessions and promote quality awareness among colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality system requirements and customer-specific standards.
- Provide updates and reports on the progress of assigned tasks.
- Initiate corrective measures in response to any non-compliance with product or process specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive production sector within a quality engineering role, or 3 years in a quality department in manufacturing.
- An engineering degree or a technical college qualification with 3 years of relevant experience in automotive quality.
- Training in IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP methodologies.
- ISO 19011 audit training or at least 1 year of experience in the automotive production sector (IATF 16949, VDA).
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in Mexico.
- Willingness to relocate to the UK after an initial period.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as required.
Important Information:
Please note that during the initial period, you will work remotely from Mexico, transitioning to on-site work in Europe thereafter. Attention to detail is crucial for this role, so please read the requirements carefully.
