About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Engineer. As a key member of our Data & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data solutions using big data technologies, including Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
  • Work closely with Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Unit teams to contribute to the data strategy and implement coherent solution architecture.
  • Collaborate with other data engineers to ensure that applications meet requirements and performance goals.
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines for testing and deployment using Azure DevOps.
  • Implement system configuration changes based on defined solution and ensure data solution technical functionality.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in application programming (Python or Scala) and ETL/ELT experience.
  • Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
  • More than two years working experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure Data Lake tools.
  • More than one year working experience building automation pipelines for testing and deployment using Azure DevOps.
  • Fluent English and Spanish both written and oral.
