Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team in Mexico City. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for generating sales leads through efficient marketing initiatives, developing impactful marketing materials and tools, and staying current on effective customer outreach methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the crafting and execution of a comprehensive annual marketing plan and budget in collaboration with the global downstream marketing team and commercial teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Thermo Fisher global marketing team to stay updated on the latest marketing tools, guidelines and standards.
- Produce and distribute marketing materials, gimmicks and campaign assets for both traditional and digital platforms to develop customer engagement and lead generation.
- Grow and enhance the customer database.
- Prioritize both physical and online marketing events for the company and its partners.
- Facilitate internal communications, events and activities.
- Manage sales leads across all sources and integrate them into Salesforce.
- Evaluate marketing strategies (through pre and post-campaign analysis, customer insights, etc.) to refine and improve marketing efforts.
- Partner with external vendors to ensure campaign success and task completion.
- Establish metrics to measure marketing campaign efficiency.
Requirements
- Over two years of experience in a business setting, handling multiple projects with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Experience in organizing events and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in an omni-channel environment, including print, digital, presentation, video and more.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Eloqua or similar software.
- Creativity, inquisitiveness, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
