About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a Senior Research Engineer, you will play a key role in executing elements of product development activities and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support technology development programs and deliver on-time solutions to internal customers.
- Apply state-of-the-art design and simulation tools to optimize heat exchanger performance.
- Evaluate new heat transfer surface concepts using analytical and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of component design/simulation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to ensure successful insertion of new designs into Carrier products.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical and chemical engineering.
- A strong engineering background in manufacturing and thermosystems.
- Proficiency in modeling skills and capabilities, including CFD modeling and MatLab.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
