Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements and ensure data quality, security, and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes that support business analytics and decision-making.
- Ensure data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and apply that knowledge to improve our data systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with designing, moving, and transforming data to/from Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL DW, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365.
- Experience with integration technologies such as SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Azure Integration Services, or similar technologies.
- Mastery of relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Mastery knowledge of Snowflake in both AWS and Azure clouds.
- Experience with data wrangling and preparation for use within PowerBI.
- Expertise in Database Design, working with large databases on the Azure platform.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as Azure SQL Database.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with data profiling and data quality assessment tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Azure certifications in data-related domains (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Database Administrator) are a plus.
