Job Description
The crypto team is responsible for developing mobile and Web experiences for buying, selling, and transferring cryptocurrencies at PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom. We are expanding our cryptocurrency offerings, and this role will be working with multiple brands. We are excited to add talented engineers to our team.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Develop and maintain high-performance, reusable Swift code and stay current with the newest mobile technologies.
- Reduce technical debt and plan to eliminate it from the system.
- Collaborate with product owners to clarify technical requirements during grooming and planning meetings, as well as with engineering managers, engineers, and QA teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs.
- Define and implement processes, tools, and methodologies to achieve excellence in software development, testing, and deployment, adhering to coding standards and guidelines with attention to performance, scalability, and availability.
What You Need to Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of iOS development experience with strong Swift programming skills.
- A solid understanding of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Practical knowledge of iOS architecture and solid algorithms, along with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with a version control system (GIT, SVN, CVS, etc).
- High analytical, innovative, and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop comprehensive detailed specifications.
Language Requirement
Proficient (B2: Upper-Intermediate) in both written and spoken English. Preferably submitting your resume in English.
Workplace Model
Hybrid model recommended, with three days of in-office attendance per week.
