Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead our ETO engineering team in Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the execution of special order requirements, developing engineering requirements, and collaborating with ETO design leads to manufacture products in our CMX-B plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute development plans for new ETO offerings.
  • Provide year-over-year support for blanket quote control updates, including cost and lead time.
  • Lead and maintain processes for common ETO options to convert them into standard options with optimal cost and time.
  • Lead the integration of technical and engineering activities within ETO for commercial products.
  • Secure and maintain products under agency UL and ETL.
  • Support sales and application/marketing teams with technical assistance.
  • Provide professional and technical assistance for product support and guidance.
  • Lead and execute engineering test and qualification plans for ETO as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for ETO Sustaining Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of HVAC product experience or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Product marketing/application experience in a technical environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of HVAC systems, including system design, building and energy codes, system operation, refrigeration systems, fans, electrical and control systems, and psychometrics.
  • Well-developed analytical thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, teamwork, responsibility, dependability, flexibility, motivation, respect, and patience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Competency in business fundamentals, strong math skills, experience with SAP.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize and self-direct with multiple activities and projects.
