Job Overview
We are seeking a Water Safety Professional to join our team at Almare Luxury Collection Isla Mujeres Adult All-Inclusive in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to changing situations. As a Water Safety Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in and around the pool area. This includes providing assistance to swimmers in need, observing the swimming area for potential hazards, and promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Use appropriate rescue techniques to assist swimmers in need
- Observe the swimming area for potential hazards and unusual activities
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility
- Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
- Report accidents and injuries to management
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs
- Support co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Fitness Equipment Knowledge
- No related work experience required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
What We Offer
As a Water Safety Professional at Marriott International, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
