AECOM México is seeking a Geotechnical Manager for a large-scale project in the rail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate resources for proposal preparation, defining hours, deliverables, and methodology to be applied.
- Plan resources for service coverage in the project start-up phase.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
- Define Design Criteria.
- Review technical reports, calculations, plans, and engineering documents related to electromechanical design.
- Execute analysis and designs for validation of work performed by personnel or third parties and to provide quick solutions required by projects.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Geotechnical Manager or Department Head in the field with participation in infrastructure, transportation, and construction projects.
- Management of technical personnel, knowledge, and experience in resource planning, engineering service budgets.
- Preparation of reports on design progress, site inspections for potential or design/construction phase projects.
- Interaction with internal area managers or clients/supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional title and engineering civil ID.
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Ability to interact.
- Capacity for summarizing to perform executive presentations.
- Good oral and written communication (writing and spelling).
