Electronics Hardware Engineering Role at Sanmina Corporation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of state-of-the-art electrical systems.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in electronics hardware engineering, with a focus on designing and developing high-performance electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with x86 server architecture, FPGA design, and PCIe bus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, and functionality requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Operations.
  • Develop designs that satisfy DFT and DFM requirements, and participate in design process improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 8 years of relevant product design, product test, and development experience.
  • Expert knowledge of x86 server architecture, FPGA design, and PCIe bus.
  • Working knowledge of high-speed signal design, signal integrity, and PCB stack-up and routing reviews.
  • Knowledge of DFT, DFM, and Cost optimization processes.
