The Director of Business Expansion and Development will lead the development and execution of the long-term vision and strategy for Expansion and Business Development in Mexico. This role focuses on growing brand presence and driving profitability by identifying opportunities, negotiating terms, and successfully launching new store locations across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and internal teams
- Recommend ways to improve operations planning within the organization
- Assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data
- Lead all aspects of store openings in collaboration with all areas
- Identify potential locations for new store development
- Manage the organization's real estate development portfolio
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' experience in retail having held senior manager/director roles in recognized innovative organizations. They will have experience in a fast growth environment and a decentralized environment, and be able to work in a performance-based environment to foster it within the organization. Additionally, they will have fully bilingual Spanish and English (written and spoken) language proficiency.
